Here is a glimpse of the room in question. Don't mind the mess, I took the picture from outside for a reason: the giant stack of stuff piled up in the other corner (for those who don't know, we moved in about a week and a half ago...).
And this is what I'm envisionning...
This is more of a dream than a reality - no I can't afford Francois Nielly Paintings just yet...
Anywho, the plan is to have a small wardrobe on one side of the fireplace and a Lack Ikea bookcase on the other. A sofa bed will have to do for our guests for now - not ideal but space efficient. I need a large mirror and a large rug to get dressed comfortably and the rest is office space.
A few of the items are great Ikea finds: the rug ($299), mirror ($229), lack bookcase ($179) and sofa bed ($1,599) - I have yet to test its comfort in the store...
The chandelier ($299) is from Beacon Lighting and the desk ($599) is from Freedom.
The replica Philip Stark Ghost chair ($199) and the Ferruccio Laviani lamp ($169) are from Matt Blatt.
The folders ($14), boxes ($19) and paper bin ($79) are all from Kikki K.
The pillows are from Etsy shops Kyoozi for the blue pillow ($39) and CoupleHome ($32 for 2)
The white Claudine table lamp from EcoChic, the black Manto shelf unit from Deja Vu Interiors, and the Croc butler tray from Coco Republic don't have their prices displayed on the respective websites so I'm crossing my fingers for after Xmas sales!
What do you think?
