Anyway I've decided to step it up and to try and share 3 new things in my house with you every week - that is until I've got nothing left to show... So without further adieu, here are the first three!
1. The bathroom was painted! This was already 4 months ago now but I had yet to share it. Remember the ugly blue bathroom? We still need to grind and polish the concrete floors to get rid of that hideous vomit green. On another note, those plants outside have been growing like crazy and making all kinds of pretty colourful flowers... This makes me really happy.
2. This is our beautiful new table purchased on eBay. Same story will happen to those floors - grind and polish - and we have to fix our sad skirtings that were water damaged before we moved in... I'm also looking for a nice rug to go under the table and some artwork to go on the wall. Any thoughts?
3. I bought this Moroccan style side table for $50 on eBay (I love you eBay!). The brass needs a good polish but otherwise I really like it.

ReplyDeleteI'm loving your gorgeous green floor ~ it must look like vomit green in real life because you say so ~ but on camera it looks completely amazing with the grey and white walls!
ReplyDeleteChristine - I know I will try to be a little more consistent as long as I can figure out how to take decent home pictures - it's so hard!!
ReplyDeleteBlue Fruit - I actually thought that when I saw the photo - it doesn't look as bad! But in real life It's more like a chiffon effect with bits of orange, blue and yellow in it and white paint splatters... Not real glam...
