1. The front yard.
Many people have been working really hard these past few weeks. Ripping out concrete, grass, planting, painting and well, it's definitely been worth it!
TA DA! I don't think the photo does the work justice. The house still needs painting and the trees and hedge still need growing (we bought baby plants)! But it will all be lush and green in about a year!
I was hoping to show off beautiful new goldy-brass numbers on our freshly painted mailbox but the hardware store had ran out of "2"s!!!
A few close ups:
The freshly painted fence and baby hedge-to-be Lillypillys.
The materials: polished randomstone pavers and white marble stones
2. Some pretty flowers around the house (a bit old and tired but still pretty)...
Considering these Laura Ashley curtains for the living room... Any thoughts?
Found some beautiful bookends while antiquing on the weekend! Don't mind the actual books...
Did a bit of shuffling around the shelf. Finally moved the BluRay and Playstation out of the way and that's brought about a huge sight of relief!! It's still very much a work in progress.
And apologies for the horrid quality of the photo.
Last but not least, a gorgeous 1840's Victorian dresser. The beautiful lamp is a gift from M.
Looky at the amazing chevron wood inlay detailing!! Heaven.
Why not? More pretty flowers...
My upcoming reading!!
Off to practice my photography skills again! They obviously haven't really improved since last time...
