Apologies for being MIA last night. Yesterday was M's 28th birthday! We celebrated by going out for a beautiful meal at Sosta's Argentinian Kitchen, M's favorite (he loves big steaks and Argentinian wine)!
He received his birthday gift which had him squealing like a little girl: a beautiful 12 piece set of Laguiole steak knives (see the "steak theme" happening here?) He's been blabbering on about these knives ever since he discovered them in France this past July. He was very excited to finally have his own set.

Savvy Home's first year has surely been an adventure and a roller coaster ride of learning, gratification and everything in between.
There are two reasons why I keep blogging everyday. First, interior design is my passion. It has been for as long as I can remember. It took me a while (and a few careers) to realize this, but there is nothing that gets me inspired and happy like a beautiful room or a big interior design project.
The second and most important reason is all of you. I cannot begin to express how humbled I am for all your support. Every single follower, visit, comment, tweet, mention or email I receive from you all are the highlights of my day!
I have "met" so many fantastic people in this little adventure called blogging and thisg is truly the best aspect of blogging by far. Even though I live a bit far, I'm looking forward to meeting some of you in person!
