I'm extremely excited about today's post, as I got to interview textile designer and artist Lulu de Kwiatkowski to introduce her new Beachside Glamour collection for Opensky.
I've been a long time fan of Lulu and have admired her taste probably since I first saw her house in Lonny a few years back. To this day, her house remains a personal favorite.
I've always loved that oversized framed photo of her husband and son underwater. This has to be the best way to display family photos in an unconventional way.
Her bedroom is simple and well balanced. I wouldn't change a single thing. I love the antique chests as night tables and how lived-in it feels.
Lulu spent her childhood between the Hamptons and the Bahamas, which explains the colorful and whimsical beach-chic vibe present in her work. How beautiful is this illustration that inspired her collection for Donghia?
Thanks to Opensky and Lulu for the opportunity.
