Looking For: Bedside Tables
I had a conversation recently about how much to spend on a bedside table for a master bedroom versus a guest bedroom. I was arguing that a good guest room bedside table would be around the 200-400$ range, whereas one could spend up to 1000$ for a quality master bedroom piece. Turns out I wasn't too far off.
Here's my rule of thumb: I prefer open shelf bedside tables in guest rooms so that guests don't forget anything in drawers when they leave. But for my room, at least one little drawer for random bits is incredibly practical.
You can splurge on a nightstand if you're really coveting a specific piece, but it's also easy to find great bedside tables around the 500-1000$ mark. And if you're going for open shelves, you can easily find pretty pieces under 500$. Do you prefer open shelves, drawers, or a mix? How much would you spend on a bedside table?
