You know the fabulous girls behind Who What Wear - Katherine Power and Hillary Kerr? Of course you do. Well I've been dying to share this for months now and today I finally can: they just launched their new decor site called Domaine! Better yet, myself Cassandra, Heather and Coco are partnering up with their media network - you can even see my blogroll at the bottom of every page - Eeeek! I'm so excited to be part of the network with such fabulous ladies!
When I jumped on the brand new site, I immediately knew that Katherine and Hillary really know how to pull at my heart strings: Ross and JAM of Million Dollar Decorators, my favorite celebrity couple on the home page! Speaking of which, have you seen my photo with them and Samantha? One of the greatest moments of my life.
Anyhow, the website already has loads of content, from Celebrity Homes to Upholstery 101 and so much more. So grab a cup of coffee and get stuck into the world of Domaine.

This week, in between work and more work, I finished the first season of The Carrie Diaries. That's probably why Blair Eadie's midtown neons outfit caught my eye this week. The prequel to Sex and The City set in a Connecticut high school in 1984 didn't seem too promising but, though it was dripping in cheese, it was also kind of sweet. Did you also watch it? Did you like it? How adorable is Sebastian Kydd? Did you also kind of dig Carrie's Laura Ashley infused bedroom?
My best reads this week...
Are you also incredibly excited about this? I still remember watching the original in high school.
Victoria hit the nail on the head once again with a beautiful post on self honesty.
Affordable original beni ouarain rugs that ship everywhere? Sign me up.
Girl's got style, and so does her house (or should I say her veranda)?
Can someone please take me back to wine country?
This collaboration made me giddy.

Bottom line, it features great ideas for decorating a rental on a budget, which is why I'm using it to share a few budget decorating tips on Damask & Dentelle.

Even though The Coveteur is technically fashion focused, sometimes a name in their newsletter catches my eye and I just have to open and have a look. This happened last week when I saw the name Andrea Stanford. Andrea is the VP of Merchandising for Design and Vintage sales at One Kings Lane.
You just know that the woman who oversees the Tastemaker Tag Sales and the Market & Vintage Sales on OKL has to have impeccable taste. And she does. From Dyptique's Feu de Bois (my favorite), to L'artisan Parfumeur and Frederic Malle perfumes; from monogrammed Goyard to Louis Vuitton luggage; from Slim Aarons to Jacques Grange books, there isn't much this women doesn't have.
The house may not be "decorated" in the traditional sense, but its collection if the world's greatest little luxuries is well worth a look.

I can't seem to be able to pin anything that doesn't have a floral pattern or doesn't have an inherently Spring/Summer vibe these days. Which isn't actually a bad thing because who doesn't love a little Spring redecorating? If you're looking for inspiration to infuse a little summertime essence in your home, check out all my Spring into Summer product picks on Houzz.

Spring is one of those seasons in Montreal that just makes you want to pack your bags and never return. As the weather (slowwwly) gets warmer, the grass still isn't getting any greener and all the winter gunk is still sitting in streets waiting to be washed away. No wonder I've been pinning far too many outdoor and faraway places.
On the upside, I started running again and taking evening walks to the ice cream parlour, which suggests that summer is not far away. A few lunches with family and friends this week made this weather almost tolerable!
In a completely unrelated (and very un-SavvyHome) topic, did anyone watch the Masters Golf Tournament last Sunday? Well I didn't, but I did arrive at my parents for Sunday night dinner, just as the Green Jacket ceremony was starting. My step-dad was standing in his green jacket, hand on his heart, and I could've sworn he'd start singing the Australian National Anthem (he's French). A pretty great sight. As Hannah puts it: "whether golf is your game or not, I think we can all agree Adam Scott could make you reconsider the sport". Word, sister.
And now a few lighthearted readings for your weekend enjoyment:
This girl always sources the best products and this line of bedding and linens is no exception.
This made me want to head south and hit the greens.
Decor meets fashion in the best way possible.
I need to get this stuff into my pantry, pronto.
I saw this apartment in a whole new light.
I'm pretty excited about this pop-up shop.
Please let this be true.
Happy weekend wherever you are!

Beautiful kitchens are a dime a dozen but sometimes, it's the little luxuries that make a modest kitchen truly special. This is the kitchen of Lauren Gelb Weisbarth, sister of Alison Pincus, co-founder of One Kings Lane. Sure it’s a nice large kitchen with marble countertops, but it also features a few money savers like vintage stools and a modest subway tile splashback.
Still, this kitchen is filled with little luxuries that make life in the kitchen easier, like a pot filler! Read my 10 tips for little luxuries in the kitchen on Damask & Dentelle.

A month ago, I was right here at Calistoga Ranch enjoying a lovely afternoon filled with the most relaxing spa treatments, outdoor fireplaces and sunsets over beautiful Napa Valley. I'm pretty sure this place is better than paradise.
I happily would've stayed at the ranch a while longer to enjoy their outdoor yoga classes, their hiking trails, their delicious sweet tea and more of their blissful massages, but I'm not complaining because we were treated like royalty by our gracious hosts just down the road.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd definitely plan to stay longer. My girlfriend Victoria's got it figured out: 10 days. And since she's enjoying Napa Valley right now (lucky her) before her big move to the east coast, I'm over on her blog today helping her pick the perfect items for a wine country getaway.

Yesterday I booked a little summer vacation in Charleston, South Carolina: home of pretty southern belles, charming historic homes and one very talented interior designer named Angie Hranowski. To say that I'm excited to visit this beautiful old-charm city would be an understatement.
Right after booking our pretty little beach rental, I flipped open the latest Lonny and what did I see: Angie's new home in Charleston. Her last home was as stunning as her new one, but it's her soft pink bedroom that really caught my eye this time. So today, I'm sharing a few tips on how to get the look on Damask & Dentelle.

Let me start by picking my jaw up off the floor. Ok done.
My favorite couple did it again. Let me be clear. Kate and Andy Spade's Manhattan home has been a favorite of mine for years now. In fact, just like a good whiskey, it seems to be getting better with age. So imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon their Southampton home on Mackenzie's blog (full disclosure: Southampton may be one of my favorite places on earth).
Not to brag, but Kate and I seem to share the same love of muted brights, chinese furniture and artifacts, oversized florals, skinny stripes, antique rugs, crazy wallpaper, gallery walls, bright piping, oversized lanterns and lacquered floors.
The place was masterfully designed by Steven Sclaroff, and you can see the entire home on his portfolio. Bonus: the place was converted from a former studio and art colony, no less. I can die happy now.

A round mirror always makes a great visual impact, whether in an entrance hall, above a fireplace or even above a bed. If it's textured, colored or has a slightly funkier shape, it's even better. Why not try one of these for size?

Ahh the bittersweet joys of long weekends. I had a fabulous weekend with my family for Easter: I got to hit the slopes one last time, cook, laugh, drink wine, eat chocolate... I couldn't have asked for more. And then the weekend ended. And getting back into work mode was HARD. Did you feel the same way? If so, how did you kick yourself into gear? I did it out of sheer fear of the mounting pile of tasks in my TeuxDeux.
Anyway, here's a question for you: Remember my one and only outfit post? It got over 10x the amount of traffic of my average blog posts. Which begs the question... what the hell am I blogging about interiors for? Not to worry, interiors are here to stay, but I also wonder if I should start dabbling in the scary world of fashion blogging from time to time... Am I crazy?
One thing is for sure: I do want to share a bit more about my projects and my life... The problem is: Instagram sometimes just doesn't cut it... I need to invest in a good camera. But guys, which one? Any advice? Fire away.
Heirloom Modern is likely to be found on my coffee table soon. Thanks Sally.
I'm not alone feeling light and bright this Spring. Sarah is too.
Bailey shared somes thoughts on hiring a designer. So true.
Kyle rounded-up bathroom accessories with panache.
Erin is dying to visit the Wythe Hotel. So am I.
Have a good one!
